No you can't use this toward a degree at this time. There is some development of free online open classes that would earn certificates or badges (not this class) but nothing to earn a degree...yet.

edX is offering certifications of completion upon passing.

You should use this resources to complete or improve your knowledge. If you do this, study hard and keep the focus on your college degree you can get your certificates.

There are plenty of open universities and distance learning universities that offer degrees. For example the Open University in the UK and UNED in Spain. They are not free.  I don't know about the US.

Although this course does not provide credits toward a degree, this course thoroughly prepare you for the AP psychology exam which in turn provides credits that you can use toward a degree. If you score high enough that is.
