calc 3 help The position vector for a curve C is r(t) = costi+sintj+k. Find the unit tangent vector T, the unit normal vector N and unit binormal vector B at t = (pi/4)

OpenStudy (turingtest):

the formula for the unit tangent vector is the derivative of the parametric function divided by its magnitude

nevermind, found the formulas in my notes ahah, thanks for the help though.

in case you lose your book ;) http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcII/TangentNormalVectors.aspx

my professor actually doesn't use a book =[[. So it's all notes from lectures

OpenStudy (turingtest):

in general, Paul's online math notes are great up through linear algebra and differential equations, so you may want to use that site as a supplement to your class notes http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/

thanks, i'm actually taking linear next semester, and differential in the spring. just getting calc 3 out of the way during the summer

OpenStudy (turingtest):

just getting calc 3 "out of the way"? I think vector calc is kinda hard, you must be brave. Good luck!
