(11x+63)(7x+75)=180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for x?

OpenStudy (blaque678):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Foil it out...remember how to do that?

OpenStudy (blaque678):

The answer I got is 18x+138

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(11x+63)(7x+75)=11x*7x+11x*75+63*7x+63*75=180

OpenStudy (blaque678):

It is a vertical angles & linear pairs question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just asked you if you were trying to solve for x. If you want me to help please post the whole question because now I'm confused.

OpenStudy (blaque678):

The computer won't let me draw the question. But it is in the shape of an x.1 side is (11x+63) the other side is (7x+75).The bottom is z.So you have to solve for x then solve for z

OpenStudy (matheducatormcg):

possibly 11x+63 and 7x+75 are vertical angles to each other and you are getting this relationship mixed with supplementary angles which sum to 180.
