1) What is the formula for the sum of an infinite geometric series? 2) What is the difference between a finite and infinite series? 3) What is the limit as n approaches infinity for any fraction in the form 1/n? Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is dependent whther it is arithmetic or geometric.

2) finite series has end. infinite series just keep going

3) zero. Because when n is very very big, 1/n become very very small. But, however small 1/n gets, it will never go beyond zero. e.g - it will never negative. Hence it limit is zero.
