Additional Drawing Feature Request~

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

I would like to suggest two features for the "Draw" function. I admit I am not aware how difficult it is to implement in the perspective of coding, however, I believe that these two features will help massively in the explanations of us respondents. I am also unaware if it has been suggested already, or if it is already under discussion within the dev team, but I would like to voice out my request so the admins may know one additional person supports the idea. 1) Grid feature - I do not know if this is hard but I believe it is nothing fancy. What I imagine this to be is that it's a button, and when i press it, the whiteboard will be covered with gridlines just like a graphing paper. so many posts require graphs and drawings and this is a feature that can help very much. I have seen some drawings that are very hard to understand because it is not drawn well. It is my hope that with gridlines, then the drawing of people will improve drastically as they can draw more accurately the figures. 2) Erase feature- we always make mistakes in our drawing. True, there is an undo button, but sometimes, when we just copy others' drawings, then i dont think undo will work (feel free to correct me though) therefore an erase feature will be nicer than scratching the words to overwrite. Erase also works in original posts because sometimes when we draw something, we dont want to undo the whole thing we last drew. we just want to draw part of it. again, this can help in drawing figures. how? i've experienced so much drawing inaccurate triangles. in trigonometry, what a triangle looks like is very important. I may want to draw a right triangle, but because of unaligned vertices, my triangle will look acute/obtuse. Those are my points. Feel free to comment or criticize.

You are absolutely right @lgbasallote . Even the grid feature might not be important but erase option is needed urgently.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I view the grid tool as the most desperately needed feature.

Other desirable features: -Text tool -The ability to choose which color you're drawing in and have multiple colors in a single drawing -Hold shift to make vertical, horizontal, or 45 degree lines. Also to make perfect squares/circles instead of rectangles/ellipses. -Dotted or dashed line options -Selection, copy and paste support

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(Make sure the text tool has at least the most basic equation editor options)

Keep in mind, guys, we can't import Photoshop Version 4.0 into OS.

A number line tool would be good too.
