Why spin quantum number is not related with Shrodinger equation?
Shrodinger Equation:--
\[\frac{\partial^2 \psi}{\partial x^2}+\frac{\partial^2 \psi}{\partial y^2}+\frac{\partial^2 \psi}{\partial z^2}+\frac{8 \pi ^2 m}{h^2}(E-V) \psi =0.\]

i think it is in the energy
\(E\)
OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):
they are*
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
didn't gt:(
OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):
oh wait sorry i mis read the question,
OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):
the spin is a time component and shows up in wave equations with \[\Psi(t,x,y,z)=\phi(t)\psi(x,y,z)\]
however \(\psi(x,y,z)\) does not have a time component so spin is not a factor

thanx i gt
:D
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
one more doubt @UnkleRhaukus
.
OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):
make sense?
OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):
sorry for waited reply.
why other quantum numbers are related to shrodinger equation?
OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):
the other quantum numbers will show up in the energy component
