Which is a correct statement about gametogenesis? A. In gametogenesis, geminal cells multiply by mitosis and muture gametes are formed by meosis. B. In gametogenesis multiplication of geminal cells andformation of gametes takes place by meiosis. C. In gametogenesis, geminal cells multiply by meosis and muture gametes are formed by mitosis.

I have no idea what "geminal cells" are... and how gametogenesis works depends on what organism you're looking at. Since meiosis is mentioned, however, I'm guessing the question is talking about regular old diploid organisms. Basically, you need to get from the diploid organism to the haploid gametes (gametes are ALWAYS haploid). Consider how you go from diploid to haploid.
