You can get intersect x axis doing zero y at equation: so \[x^2\div25=1\] \[x^2=25 -> x^2-25=0 -> (x+5)(x-5)=0\] \[-> x=5 , x=-5\] Then intersect x axis : (-5,0) ; (5,0)
