How do you have 2 windows open- one where you write the program and one that actually runs the program- like the professor does in lecture 2? When I did pset 0, it was combined into one window. Thanks for the help!

In your IDLE shell, click file in the top left and select new window.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The window that opens is the actual window that you would run your programs in.

From the new window fit f5 to run a program in the shell

You can also run your files in terminal in a seperate window
