@mathslover It's all good ;) You want to change you current cursor from an arrow to your image? I think that the provided youtube videos are much more informative than I could be. You might use Sumo Paint - http://sumo.fm/#create - as an alternative to PhotoShop.

What is the source of the image? You posted an image that you said you wanted to be the image that you use correct? Otherwise, you of course need to obtain the image you want to use. You can use screen capturing to take a snapshot of you screen or part of your screen - this would then generate an image you can manipulate to make as the base image for your new cursor.

I'd imagine to get the exact image you need to find out what software was used, then you can probably search for it and most likely find a better image of the cursor

go to control panel, double lick on the mouse logo , go to the pointers section and change your cursor from there, hit the browse icon and scroll down to a list of pre-made cursors or you can download some on those given site's above.
