I'd like to steal Satellite's suggestion to number the lines in each post. It would be extremely useful and time-saving to say "refer to line x" when an asker requests a formula or explanation that you just provided a few posts up.

Instead I often find myself saying "look at the formula 3 posts up -- I mean 4 posts -- no not 4 of your posts 4 of mine..."
Then I give up and have to reexplain or type everything, which wears my patience unnecessarily thin. It shouldn't be too hard to implement that change I would imagine, so any objections?
