show all work. a dj has 11 songs to play - 7 are slow songs, 4 are fast songs. each song can only be played once. in how many ways can the dj play the 11 songs if: 1. teh songs can be played in any order? 2. the 1st and last song must be slow? 3. the 1st 2 songs must be fast?

1. i'm thinking 121 ways - correct? 77 + 44 for 4 songs 11 ways, 7 songs 11 ways.
No I don't think that is right. Think about if there were only 3 songs (1 fast, 2 slow... doens't matter). The possibilities would be 123,132,213,231,312,321 = 3! Now, if there are 11 songs it is going to be 11!
