A bob of mass of 0.18 kilograms is released from a height of 45 meters above the ground level. What is the value of the kinetic energy gained by the bob at the ground level?

OpenStudy (shane_b):

\[Potential ~Energy = mgh=(0.18kg)(9.8m/s^2)(45m)=79.38J\] When the bob gets to the ground level all of the potential energy will have been transferred to kinetic energy...so it gained 79.38J of kinetic energy.

options are only 2.4 5.1 8.1 10.0
