find the inverse function for f(x)=-(x/3)+1?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

set x to y and solve for y so y = -(x/3) + 1 becomes x = -(y/3) + 1 now it becomes simple algebra

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

any questions?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

all that is left is simple algebra, if you have a problem just write it out and I will show you were you went wrong
