OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

If x-ray is a electromagnetic spectrum then why does it not deflected by the electric & magnetic fields ????????????????????

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

@apoorvk Please help:)

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

@maheshmeghwal9for deflection of any ray what is necessary do u no!!!

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

no

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

@chmvijay

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

any particle or rays if they have charge then only they get deflected !!!do u think X rays are charged rays

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

no they aren't so they will not be deflected ok:) but why they are called electromagnetic spectrum's part then??????????????

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

do u think electromagentic raditions like Ultra violet,Infrared,gamma rays ,radio waves are charged!!!

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

they are called Electromagnetic radiation Bcoaz in their wave nature they contain both electric and magnetic field orthogonally

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

did u get what i am trying to say!!!

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

oh ok i gt thanx:)
