it might be a bug in the programming.... one of the loops might be causing this.

That certainly shouldn't be happening. Could you do me a favor? Try opening a new Incognito Window in Chrome, go to OpenStudy and log in, and then see if the bump timer in that window also reads in the 5,000s or not.

Hm. So you can't even load the page in the incognito window? That's very strange. Does that keep happening if you try to reload? You should be able to see the site just like you would in a normal window.

Hey @mathslover, are you still seeing this issue? We rely on your system clock to calculate this. Is your computer's clock (on the bottom right, I'm assuming) accurate given your time zone and date?
