I'm doing something wrong here I think... Q: Eliminate the parameter to find a Cartesian equation: x = 1 − t\(^2\), y = t − 5, −2 \(\le\) t \(\le\) 2 A: Using substitution... x = 1-(y+5)\(^2\) "-y\(^2\)-10y-24" is showing as incorrect on this homework thingy +1 medal if you can fix my error :-)

What did you put in your first try?
