Five times the first of three consecutive even integers is fourteen more than three times the second. What is the third consecutive integer? 3. 5n = 3(n+2)+14 where n is the first number, n+2 is the second and n+4 is the third. Solve for n and then find n+4. -Im Lost .

5n = 3n + 6 + 14 2n = 20 Divide both the sides by 2, you will get n.. Then find (n+4)..
n=10 . 10+4 = 14 .
