Let f(x) = x – 2 and g(x) = 3x + 4. What is f(g(x)) ?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

replace the x in f(x) by g(x) f(g(x)) = (3x + 4) - 2 - now simplify a little further and you have it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 2x-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can help you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 2x-2 is this right?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

it simplifies to 3x + 2
