the a in both the following expression3a-9=6 and 5a+2=27 have the same value

5a+2=27.. u subtract the 2 from the 27 and eliminate it on the side with 5a and the equation becomes 5a=25 so for the first a=5 and 3a-9=6 u add 9 to the 6 and to the -9 on the other side so the equation is 3a=15 so a=5 in this equation to so the answer is a=5
