How do I find the range of (x - 2)^2 + 2?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

this is a parabola with a vertex at (2, 2) so the range is y >= 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh wow thanks so it would be greater than or equal to because it's on the point and the parabola is facing upwards right?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

thats correct... the parabola is concave up... so the vertex is the lowest point on the parabola.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

easier than i thought thanks a bunch! :)
