help me please

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

What would you like help with? c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question i just asked like i dont understand it at all

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

Hmmm...the question is a bit vague, and I'm not sure what it's asking for. Yes they are congruent, but is it asking for the type of transformation? or the coordinates? something else? Just wanted to know to help you better :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is asking for the coordinates

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

Ahh I see, which figure does it want coordinates for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which two transformations can map Figure 1 onto Figure 2?

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

Reflection and Translation are the two you're looking for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i do that

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

Reflection (or flips) are used to flip it completely over as if the axis was a mirror, in this case, it would be the y-axis being the "mirror." It'll look backwards. Translations (or "sliding") are used to move it in any direction. The shape will only look like it moved, nothing too special. I hope this clarifies a little! :)

yes it did thank you
