Hey folks, sorry for the extended downtime. Some typos on my part resulted in some fun on the database.

Today's downtime was about fixing some errors in the database that resulted in medals to be severely undercounted for some users and overcounted for others. We've fixed this by restoring those medals to the users. @Akshay_Budhkar is one of the users who saw the most number of medals restored.

We're still doing some consistency checks to make sure everything worked. Site may be a tad slow here and there while we work on that.

I think that the medals will be undercounted for a while. until they've fixed it completely.

lol My medal count is way off, as well. I can honestly say I don't care though.

I see some profile changes too. Now that box has become a lot bigger. Long profile descriptions fit in.

If i open a new tab for anything on OpenStudy, I see that the fan amounts are different that are online.

We're seeing some consistency issues in the database between what is being reported for individual groups and what is being reported for your overall medal count, and inconsistencies with the unofficial groups. We're looking into it.

Farm is there a bug in the medal count, or is it the new system? 'Cause medals in quite some profiles (including mine) seem to have decreased by about 200. (in fact if am right, exactly 200)

Alright guys, so here's the latest. We've fixed some of the issues here and there are some that still remain. We're going to work on a fix that we'll get it out when we can. I don't expect it to happen today. Thanks for your patience guys. We'll update you as we have more info.

hmm it seems akshay was the only one whose medal count increased huh. my count decreased by 600 :( i hope it's a bug and not my actual medal count...
