If a line has a slope of -2/5 then a perpendicular line would have a slope of 2/5 True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

False slope should be -(-1/2/5)=5/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This would be false. Whatever line is prependicular to another, their slope is the opposite reciprocal. That means if it's from -2/5, it would be the reciprocal (5/2) and the oppposite, +5/2
