Where do we "Submit" our answers to problem set ps0? Thanks in advance.
You don't. It's an online course in that all the material is online, but no one is really checking your answers. There *are* online courses that allow you to submit what you've done, but this isn't one of them. You're learning purely to learn. You have two options. One is to just solve the problem and move on. The nice thing about Computer Science is that if you're right, you probably *know* you're right since the program does what it's supposed to do. The other is you can post here and ask people to check your work, and they will, because we're nice people here.
Thank you for answering my question Shandelmann. When I was in college we were using VAX mainframes and I took a CAD class using Apple II e's. Does that age me? I have attached a picture of what I wrote. If you could tell me what you think, I would appreciate it. Thanks
Looks good to me.
Only thing I would get used to is to use variable names that actually have to do with the data they hold. Using x and y is fine in a small program, but it's much easier for others to understand if you used "birthday" and "name" instead. But that's not really a criticism, just a way to stretch yourself.
