OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

7^4n+7=2,401

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

Is it \[\huge{7^{4n+7}=2401.}?????\]

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

or \[\huge{7^{4n}+7=2401.??????????}\]

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

btw I think it is first one! \[7^{4n+7}=2401=7^4.\]\[\implies 4n+7=4.\] Because; \[a^x=a^y \implies x=y.\]So u can do it now:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first you need to find out what 7^4 is then you need to minus 7 from both sides of the equation and then you divide both sides by the answer to 7^4 and you get the value of n.
