Find a number that when multiplied by 6 is the equal to the sum of the number and 60.

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

first put it into a formula: "6n=n+60". Now solve for "n".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do you solve for n? ..sorry i'm confused.

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

divide each part by 6 to get what? ( don't actually simplify yet)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to get 60, so it would be 10?

OpenStudy (noseboy908):

I'm a bit out of practice with this stuff, so I played with the numbers a bit. My conclusion is that n=12. Check if you'd like.
