Is the equation y=5(6.8)x an example of growth or decay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that supposed to be \(y=5(6.8^x)\)? Not quite sure if I understand what you wrote. If that's it, it's exponential growth, because the base of the exponent is larger than 1.
