Doing permutation (randomization) tests. I have cholesterol reduction data for DRUG A and DRUG B in a twins study, for 5 pairs of twins. I'm given the mean difference between the drugs in cholesterol reduction for the 5 pairs: 5.8mg/dl. I'm asked to calculate an exact p-value for a permutation test f Ho. So there are 2^5 = 32 permutations for the results. How do I calculate which permutations would give the desired mean of 5.8 or greater.
