Is the magnetic field of a current flowing thought a wire spread out equally? I found out that a magnets magnetic field is strongest at its edge/corners... Then in a current flowing though a wire created a magnetic field. Is the magnetic field spread out equally throughout the wire or there is a point where its strongest like permanent magnets? In a loop wire I know that the magnetic field is strongest at the center of the loop. Not sure about a straight lined wire carrying current though...
