Multiply. (4x)(2x)(3x2 + 2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ans is 64. I think!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer should be in an equation .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are those x are multiplication signs??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No they are variables .

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

\[(4x)(2x)(3x^2 + 2) \] what is \(4x \times 2x \) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6x^2+8x-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3x - 2)(2x + 4) =6x^2+8x-8 answer//

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer choices : A.24x3 + 16x B.18x3 + 12x C.24x4 + 16x2 D.18x4 + 12x2

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

@Caramel_823 Please check my post ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ans is 24x^4+16x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok @Diyadiya Is it 8x^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay the equation will be first 8x2(3x2+2) after multiplication you will get the answer

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

@Caramel_823 Yes its 8x^2 Now the answer is not complete \(8x^2 ( 3x^2 + 2) \) You have to distribute \(8x^2 \) \(8x^2*(3x^2) + 8x^2* 2 \)

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

is that clear? What do you get now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24x^4+16x^2

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Right! :) Hope you understood!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I understand , thanks a lot !

OpenStudy (diyadiya):
