Math graphing questions.. So I attempted to work them out, but they were incorrect.. All equations have to be in standard form.. The line including two points (6, 4) and (-5, 3). my answer:y =(1/11)x+(38/11) The line with a slope of (-1/3) and b of 6. my answer:y = (-1/3) x + 6 The line with m = 4 and the point (0, -9). my answer:y = 4 x - 9 The line through (2, -1) and parallel to x - 2y = 6. my answer:y = (1/2) x - 2 The line with m = 4 and intersecting 2x -4y = 8 at x = 6. my answer:y = 4x - 23 If you need my work I would be more than glad to post it, it's just alot to write. But thanks so much! :D
You got them all correct...
Oh. Well then. I don't know why they are counted as incorrect?
But thank you! At least I know what I'm doing. :)
Standard form. -_- Your answers are all correct, but they are in slope intercept form.
So all you have to do to get them in standard form is get x and y together on the same side.
Oh. Of course..
Ax + By = C
Daang it. Okay, well thank you :)
Haha no, don't say dang it! This means that you're actually frickin' sweet at this, and you only got counted wrong because of a technicality.
Very true. :DD
