Change both fractions so that they have the same denominator. Then subtract.

BTW, I'm assuming that's 2/5, 3/5, 5/6, 1/6 in your question?

Mica has read 50% of the book. Denise has read 33.33% which is approx 34%. so Mica has read 16% more of the book than Denise. Only that's how one can get a whole no. so the answer should be 16 i think.
