OpenStudy (konradzuse):

Does anyone have a good resource for knowing which series is which(Calculus 2)?

OpenStudy (konradzuse):

http://furius.ca/cqfpub/doc/series/series.pdf This looks good. :)

OpenStudy (konradzuse):

except it says geo series is x = 1.... but in my book it says x = 0???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it starts at \(k=1\) because the first term is written as \(ar^{k-1}\) if you write the first term as \(ar^k\) then you would start at \(k=0\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know of 2 series in calc tarylor and maclueirian macluren is just special easy case of taylor series with a 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

geo and arithmatic is algebra not calc.

OpenStudy (konradzuse):

This is the only class I've ever seen Series in... Thaks Satellite :).

OpenStudy (konradzuse):

I believe geo series has to start @ 0 right?

OpenStudy (konradzuse):

and you can basically figure it out using that a/(1-r) formula?
