Discuss two choices made by Gawain throughout the course of the poem. What were the consequences of these choices? If you were Gawain, would you have made these same choices? Why or why not? Please explain your answers in detail.

Well, you can start by identifying some of the choices he makes and go from there. Did Sir Gawain have to challenge the Green Knight (instead of letting Arthur do it? Was he forced to go find the Green Knight a year later? Could he have refused to accept the green girdle? Put yourself in the character's perspective - what would be his motivations for doing what he did?
