@satellite73

anybody? :D

area of floor= length *breadth=
1 inch =0.0254meter
so u can find area of tile in square meters
now no. of tiles needed=area of floor/area of one tile
OpenStudy (anonymous):
can you explain it a bit more? Im kinda confuse

length x width u mean?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
aha @Krutarth got tricked
LOL
OpenStudy (anonymous):
first find the area of a tile in squaremeter
1 square inch=0.0254*0.0254 square meters
here 24*24 square inch = (24*24)*(0.0254*0.0254)=area of tile
OpenStudy (anonymous):
got it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh ok

.3716 is what i got
OpenStudy (anonymous):
then find the area of floor=2.4384*4.272 square meter
now no. of tiles needed=area of floor/area of one tile
OpenStudy (anonymous):
10.416
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so take this 10.416/.3716 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
28.032

does that sounds right ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i miss typed some values.did u copy wat i typed or from the picture?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
doesn't matter if you get decimal.just round it to next higher integer=29 tiles
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i copied what you typed
OpenStudy (anonymous):
which one you miss typed ?

in the floor area calculation.
area of floor=2.4384*4.2672 square mete, this is right
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok so let me re-do it
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so now the result is 28.0009 so i guess 28 is fine ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
nop
then u'll leave some space empty. 29 is still good
