What is the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a regular polygon where a single exterior angle measures 36°?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the sum of the exterior angles is 360 so 360/36 = 10 there are 10 interior angles each interior angle is supplementary to the exterior angle let i be 1 interior angle i + 36 = 180 so the measure of 1 interior angle is = 144 so 10 x 144 = 1440 the sum of the interior angles is 1440 degrees hope this helps
