Is this sentence in my paper a run on? If so, how would you rewrite it?
They just need to make sure that when they talk to the press, they don’t say anything that could come off offensive and make sure they stick to the facts and nothing else.

You could say who is they. I would rewrite it as... When [insert who] talk to the press they make sure to stick to the facts, for they could say something that could come across as offensive.
