-14/(2x-4)^2 is the first deric=vative of a function, determine when the function is increasing and decreasing

please need help on that one..
so that mins its decreasing when x<0
no the denominator is a square so will be either 0 or positive and numerator is -14 so for most values of x the derivative will be negative and the function will be decreasing
except when x = 2 the denominator will be zero so there will be a vertical asymptote at that point
