There are c compact discs on each shelf. Write a variable expression that represents the number of compact discs on 25 shelves 25 + c 25 ÷ c 25c 25 – c

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

lets say that there were 2 CDs on each shelf. then how many would there be on 25 shelves?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

50 ?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

correct - now perform the same operation with 'c' CDs on each shelf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25 divided by c ?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

did you divide 25 by 2 to get 50 above?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no...so i dont divide ?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

do exactly what you did with 2 CDs - but replace the 2 with 'c'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand that part, but for the options it tells me 25+c 25-c 25 divided by c and 25c
