simplify the square root of 49a^4
7a
7a^2
7a a squared
7a^2 a squared
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i think it's 7a^2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
am i right??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
we are going to use the property of sqrt(ab) =sqrt(a)*sqrt(b) so in your case we have sqrt(49a^4) = sqrt(49)*sqrt(a^4) = 7a^2 so your right :)

HELP PLEASE
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
z z^3 squared?

so lets just right z^7 as z^2*z^2*z^2*z do you see what i am trying to do?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok i see now it's EXACTLY like another lesson :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and now let us use the property that i wrote before and apply it to there and write this as
sqrt(z^2)*sqrt(z^2)*sqrt(z^2)*sqrt(z)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now could you obtain the final answer?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yep.........
