On the 1st of April, Mr. Wesley invested $15,000 in the business. Why is the bank account(an asset) debited(increased)?

i don't understand because the mr wesley puts in money into the business so why increase and not decrease?

Maybe its referring to the business bank account? It would increase because Mr. W puts his own money into it for business purposes.
