A rectangular picture has dimensions 2½ by 1½. It is to be enlarged so that it is still similar to the original rectangle. If the longer dimension is now 10, what is the perimeter of the enlarged rectangle?

To get the shorter dimension, Find x for 10/2.5 = x/1.5 The perimeter will be 10 + 10 + 2x
ok i go the answer 32..... but hey what this one The sides of a polygon are 3, 5, 6, 8, and 10. The perimeter of a similar polygon is 40. Find the sides of the second polygon (from smallest to largest). Put answers in decimal form (hundredths)
