Two cars leave from the same parking lot, one driving north and the other driving south. The first car is traveling at a speed of 72 mph and the second is traveling at a speed of 68 mph. How long will it take before they are 560 miles apart?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

let t = time you know distance = speed x time so the distance traveled by car A at time t is 72t the distance traveled by car B is 68t it says the sumof their distance is 560 so 72t + 68t = 560 solve for t

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

do you get what i did?
