P(x), D(x), Q(x) and R(x) are polynomials If P(x) is divided by D(x) the quotient is Q(x) with remainder R(x) What is the value of P(x) in terms of D(x), Q(x) and R(x)?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

We are given that when P(x) is divided by D(x) the quotient is Q(x) with remainder R(x). It's easy If I divide 11 by 4, I get 2 as quotient and 3 as remainder so I can write 11 as \[11=4\times 2+3\] can you do it now? @annej

yes
