there are multiple ways...for a basic idea you can go to your profile...it is listed there some of the criteria (though it's not limited to that) you can gain fans, testimonials, invite users, or get medals from people you've never gotten a medal before you can also get medals from askers and by responding to many questions you can also ask and engage in questions
