OK uhm trapezium So area of Trapezium = (1/2)(a +b)h a = 8 b = 9 h = 8 and AArea of a circle = pi* r^2 r = 4 So area of shaded portion = Area of trapezium - Area of circle Substituting We have 68 sq feet - 50.26 sq feet = 17.74 sq feet
