add the one to the negtive 11
subtract*
\[-2x+1\le-11\]\[-2x+1-1\le -11-1\]\[-2x \le -12\]\[x \le {-12 \over -2}\]\[x \le 6\]
you have to flip the inequality sign when you mulitiply or divide by a negative number. So it would be \[x \ge6\]
