what lines have undefined slopes hrizontal or vertical

OpenStudy (foolaroundmath):

vertical .. why ? slope = change in y-coordinates divided by change in x-coordinates For a vertical line, the x-coordinate remains the same. so the change is zero. To calculate slope, you are dividing by zero which is undefined

OpenStudy (hba):

a 0/0 form is called an unidentified slope
