Parth (parthkohli):

These are requests regarding the titles of Problem Solving(Guru, Champion, Mentor, Lifesaver, etc.) 1) The titles like 'Mentor', 'Lifesaver', 'Helper' are related to how the people help on this site. I find the helping titles better than the titles that convey how you solve problems(Champion, Hatchling). I'm not good enough to find replacements for the latter, but I'd like to receive help from the writers. 2) 'Lifesaver' sounds a much better title than 'Mentor'. I'd love if both are exchanged. These are my points. :) Thanks, Parth.

See parth , bringing forth new ideas and creative suggestions should be a daily routine for open study. Only experiments can further lead to up gradation of the current arrangement. I appreciate your point , but I feel even the present titles are quite appropriate. But yea , anything better should be given a shot. So you think , I'll think and we'll all think. :-)

to the "old" users though..having 75+ problem solving score and called "lifesaver" is a huge insult hahahaha lol..jk

mathslover (mathslover):

Well I also agree with u @ParthKohli but ...why are we overlaying a huge load on moderators / admins. . . If lifesaver , champion , mentor ..these words are running ok !! then why to change ? The color change of the name of people with respective to smart score is good enough to replace good words in titles. . . .

mathslover (mathslover):

The intelligence of a person mainly does not depend upon whether he is a mentor / lifesaver but mainly depends upon his/her mind..Actually i never saw the titles to compare people here .. .. what is effect their in lifesaver and in mentor ? sorry if this reply are not useful then ...sorry !!

@mathslover you don't have faith in smartscore system !! i think new comers to this site judge people based on smartscore. i do the same :) I feel very happy when a green guy pitches in to help me. most green ppl i have interacted here are excellent at understanding/solving problems and teaching Current titles look okay to me. Still i think they can be more meaningful. I like the word LifeSaver much more than a Champion or a Mentor :D. hmmm let LifeSaver be promoted to Champion, Champion be removed from the system... Helper and Mentor sound okiee. I prefer names indicating skill rather than individual achievement... these are just my thoughts :P

mathslover (mathslover):

:D that is not a topic that.. I dont have faith in ss system .. @ramya25 It is nice and helpful . .. My motive was only to say that this idea is good but not for now
